I suggest you look at the questions from your new perspective, and decide whether you want to follow the suggestions and get them online, or whether you now see that it is not actually a viable question. Editors do not spend anything like as much time on single questions as they do on quizzes, and the feedback on them is not usually as lengthy in terms of providing feedback for development. So we do not have any firm policy about how to deal with rejection of single questions. What I do not recommend is emptying the current contents and recycling the question. If you are not going to proceed with it, just delete it and start over on a new one. Reply #1. Mar 28 24, 12:55 AM |

Thank you for your help. I appreciate the clarification you provided regarding repurposing single questions. I submitted these five questions 10 years ago, when I was new to everything, and didn't do a great job. Even the helpful feedback I received confirms that I need to make significant revisions. So, any attempts to repurpose them might violate what you told me not to do in your second paragraph. Therefore, I'm going to delete these five questions and start fresh, as you outlined, as one of the options for dealing with such a situation. Also, I wanted to say thanks for the new addition - Bingo! It definitely boosts one's motivation to submit more single questions. :) Reply #2. Mar 30 24, 6:05 PM |
