How did the comma and question mark butterflies get their names?

The underside of their wings resembles the mark they are named after. So the eastern comma butterfly has a comma shape on the underside of its wing and the question mark butterfly has, you guessed it, a mark that resembles a question mark. I think the question mark is a bit harder to make out as it looks more like a connect-the-dots kind of question mark. Still, both are really cool!
