If complete, it could weigh anywhere from 15 to 25 kg (33-55 pounds). Some may recall visions of a fully-clad knight being hoisted aboard his charger, using a crane-like device. Despite this "burden," wearers were able to move freely, run and jump because the weight was spread evenly across the body.
