The rumour in Liverpool is that Steven Gerrard will be leaving the team. He wants to win a championship medal before he gets to old to join a top team. Under erratic manager Rafael Benitez it does not seem possible at Liverpool and he himself could be on his way out if Liverpool do not finish in the top 4 in the league this season. My money is on a move to Chelsea, a team he nearly went to a couple of years ago. Do you think he will go and to which team?

I think those odds look about right,Bernie. Based on last season,anyway. Might be a little different if you consider pre-season games,though. Chelsea and Man $hi!y have had a bit of a mare! Bit unfair about the pies,though. Wayne didn't actually eat them all himself. He and Ryan Giggs recently held a charity medal polishing day,but they mis-calculated. Just a bit of fun,navaho! But I can think of much worse things to fund than an ailing football club,loved by many thousands of TAXPAYERS! Like duckhouses,bookcases and moat cleaning for MPs? Or 'bonuses' for already over-paid,incompetent bankers? Or maybe the odd war or two in a country thousands of miles away from us? And that's assuming HMRC has their figures right.
