I prefer my home province, Ontario. I have visited all the provinces and each has something good to offer but Ontario has the most that a tourist can experience. Reply #1. Sep 04 10, 6:20 AM |

Alberta, of course. Prairies, foothills, mountains. And the richest province in Canada. A great place to live. Reply #4. Sep 05 10, 9:35 AM |

I would say Prince Edward Island even though I live in Ontario. What a lovely province. Quaint serene, nothing like the hustle and bustle of Southwestern Ontario. Reply #5. Sep 06 10, 5:45 PM |

Divine, I lived in Alberta for nine years before I escaped to Manitoba. Sometimes, being the richest province is no guarabtee of quality of life! Reply #6. Sep 14 10, 12:20 PM |

I would have to agree with Prince Edward Island, beautiful countryside. But having said that, I have been awed by the beautiful scenery in all 11 of the provinces that I have visited. Reply #7. Jan 21 11, 11:50 PM |

I used to live in BC, and it was great out there. It's got everything -- mountains, beaches, cultural attractions. Definitely would recommend it to anyone! Reply #10. Jan 04 13, 6:45 AM |

I admit a bias toward my home province, Alberta- not sure what you escaped by moving to Manitoba: it wasn't the mosquitoes or the cold winters! I have also enjoyed extended visits to BC, Québec, Nova Scotia, and Ontario (in that order of preference), with quick passes through New Brunswick, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and the Northwest Teritories. All are so large and varied, one can find much to love, and some things to dislike. As with one's family, I observe that the place one grows up often becomes one's frame of reference to either want to stay in or to run as far away as possible from! Reply #11. Jan 04 13, 10:09 PM |

It would have to be B.C. I've lived in Winnipeg, Ottawa and Vancouver but B.C. is the province I'm most likely to return to. Haven't made it to the Maritimes(except a few hours in Halifax on the way to England once) or the North yet, saving the best for last perhaps? Reply #12. Oct 11 15, 1:18 AM |

I have only visited two Canadian provinces (BC and Ontario), enjoyed both immensely! All I can say is that the Canadian people are very welcoming and hospitable, and that visiting the remaining eight provinces is on my bucket list. Reply #13. Nov 05 15, 7:03 AM |
