What small and stupid thing has recently gotten your goat?
Mine would be spell checks that never give you the right suggestion for what you want even though you only barely misspelled something.

I agree with Rayven! It's soooo annoying! Also all of those really annoying preps that cry over anything bad you say about them, or like cry if they don't get their way. Love those penguin pirates! Most annoying thing? Mosquitoes, especially when they torture the hand holding the mouse. I believe they lurk under the mouse table, peek, say 'yep, she's looking at the screen, time for a raid!' then sneak out and apply the nasty hypodermic of Itch. I reach for mosquito zapper but often they've returned to hidden lurk mode. Sometimes I get them, but there are always more. Then I sigh resignedly and reach for the calamine lotion and more repellent. I have screens on my windows and I'm starting to think of installing a mosquito airlock on my door. Just kidding. Other family members like french doors wide open. A few more of my more people related Annoying Things: '_The_ x', whatever it is, when there's clearly more than one option. Common grammatical errors such as 'there's..' ( + plural), or 'their' instead of 'his',her' or other grammatical errors. Biggest communication 'crime' for me is 'nobody came' when 'very few people came' is really meant. I also don't like unsolicited 'awwwww!' or 'no but...' when no contradiction to the previous remark is appropriate. Reply #56. Oct 11 07, 6:04 PM |

Thanks for all the compliments on my penguins! That doesn't annoy me at all! :) I do agree with you 100% Kiwi_al. They stand there and talk to each other like you don't exist! Grrrr! Also, I was in a store the other day that closes at 6 p.m. At 5:50, the clerk started saying that we close in 8 minutes. She kept it up every minute. At exactly 6, she kicked us out.
