Hi! I'm still exploring this site and discovering which tabs I'll be interested in. Bookworm here and as my id suggests I'm an avid reader. My fav author/poet is Sylvia Plath and my fav poem is 'Mad Girl's Love Song', fav movie is 'Freedom Writers' and if I'm a character in Winnie Pooh I'll be Rabbit, all methodical and OCD . ^v^ Reply #1010. Hello, Bookworm. Welcome to FunTrivia, and to our Chat Boards. We have lots of literature quizzes, and the category often pops up as the subject in many of our timed games. Love Pooh Bear and all his friends. I used different voices for each one, when reading to my kids. @postcards2go @flopsymopsy, Thanksfor the welcome! @postcards2go I love to make up voices for different characters too! I also enjoy casting different actors’ and actresses’ voices. Recently I finished reading The Shining by Stephen King, and I casted the boy from ‘The Sixth Sense’ as the protagonist, and it fits like a glove in my mind. ^v^ @flopsymopsy I don’t think the characters thought that Rabbit was irritating, they probably are not supposed to dislike one another since it’s a children’s book and we all have to be nice and polite all the time. But yeah I can imagine if I have a friend like Rabbit in real life it would be quite irritating. He or she would be trying to infringe into other friends’ space and make insensitive but well-meaning suggestions to other pple all the time. Round here no one messes with rabbits, however crotchety I have actually spent many happy times playing Poohsticks from the bridges in the Ashdown Forest as I used to live nearby. There's a question that comes up in timed quizzes quite a lot, referring to the imaginary Hundred Acre Wood - it costs me a couple of seconds every time as my brain leaps instantly to the thought "that's not imaginary, I've been there!".
