There are several movies I would not mind watching over and over. The Monster Squad was a cult classic to me. The Major League movies, as well as the Fast and the Furious movies. Also the Bad News Bears movies. The old Bad News Bears, not the new one with Billy Bob Thornton. Didn't much care for that one. Wish they would make another Major League movie though. Reply #50. Addition to my original post on this thread: 'Much Ado About Nothing'. Everything about this brilliant film is well-done - the casting (even Keanu Reeves does well in M.A.A.N.), the cinematography (all that lush Italian countryside with pastel villas), the music, the costumes - everything! All this and Emma Thompson and Kenneth Branagh, too. Reply #53. Sep 28 10, 4:15 PM |

What is it about 'Grease' that people love it so much? I was a teenager in the 1950s and don't remember high school being eveb remotely as it is depicted in that film. Reply #55. Sep 28 10, 9:11 PM |

Olivia Newton-John and Stockard Channing were way too long in the tooth to be believable as teenagers, and I think the movie was intended to be a fun, musical fantasy. Reply #58. Oct 11 10, 1:27 PM |

The Great Escape. I believe that, considering the law of averages, Steve McQueen is going to clear the barbed wire fence one day. I don't want to miss it when he does. Reply #59. Oct 15 10, 7:21 PM |
