Creedy, I identify completely with your posts. I'd prefer to keep the quizzes and the badges without the cooking. Reply #62. Jan 27 15, 7:48 AM |

The non-cooks here might enjoy this quote: “I read recipes the same way I read science fiction. I get to the end and say to myself "Well, that's not going to happen.” ? Rita Rudner Reply #64. Jan 27 15, 1:39 PM |

Creedy said: I think that's why I married the man I did. He was a chef, baker and pastrycook. Oh YES. Clever woman. So eating great food is not an issue. Maybe you can do that, for this game. So sorry you feel burn-out. I adore your quizzes. Reply #65. Jan 27 15, 2:44 PM |

Ok, in theory it's up and running. I've done minimal testing so there could be some bugs, but fingers crossed :) http://www.funtrivia.com/templates/food.cfm Awards for new quizzes are for quizzes going online as of right now. Awards for this game are not retroactive (the fun of this game is in the journey anyway...). Huge thanks to Trident for coming up with the idea, recipes, and icons for the game. Reply #68. Hurray! I would just like to mention that it's okay if you would like to share a few recipes with your friends if they are having trouble with their ingredients, but we would rather that players don't share large lists of recipes publicly. Part of the fun of the game is to learn them for yourself! Reply #70. Jan 27 15, 4:14 PM |

Fun! Now...once we make a dish, our pantry for those items empties? Reply #71. Jan 27 15, 4:14 PM |

Yes, you have to collect new food items each time. It is also possible to get two of the same ingredient at the same time (at least I am under that impression from what Terry told me). Reply #72. Jan 27 15, 4:17 PM |

But we will never need two of the same ingredient for one dish. Yes? Reply #73. Jan 27 15, 4:20 PM |

It's super easy to click through, everything seems to work, and I'm visual so I like the pics. I don't entirely get the "your cookbook recipes". Those are recipes where ingredients are already spelled out? And...recipes required for each player? Reply #75. Jan 27 15, 4:24 PM |

You receive ten cook book recipes at the beginning of the game. There are over 100 total recipes. With cook book recipes, you are guaranteed to know what ingredients are needed for the recipe. For the other recipes, you will have to research or guess...or write quizzes to gain more recipes in the cook book! Reply #76. Jan 27 15, 4:31 PM |

There are over 100 individual dishes. If you create a dish that has not been created previously, you get the mini-badge. Getting an early start on this one is definitely an advantage! Reply #78. Jan 27 15, 4:37 PM |

One more thing: if you randomly create a dish, will that be added to your recipe list? BTW: it's nice to see a uniquely innovative game that's running parallel to all the others and thus doesn't require too much 'special attention'! Reply #79. Jan 27 15, 4:38 PM |

(( There are over 100 individual dishes. If you create a dish that has not been created previously, you get the mini-badge. Getting an early start on this one is definitely an advantage! )) So there's a finite number of these to be handed out? Reply #80. Jan 27 15, 4:40 PM |
