In the relatively near future, a new quiz-writing game will be launched here at FunTrivia. Instead of focusing on idea creation, like Kyle's wonderful games, this new game is meant to foster motivation.

Some of our regular authors may find the game to be ridiculously addictive! I am hoping we will attract new and former authors to start writing more quizzes. The editors have seen glimpses of what is to come and everyone is quite excited to launch the new game.

So everyone, please get your aprons ready because the tacos are coming!

How many recipes are there altogether? I have it at 269 but that's a suspicious looking number

I don't think we share this information due to hidden dishes, but that's close to the total.

I've got 270 listed. That seems like a nice round number. Maybe it's 300 if there's a lot of hidden dishes but on the clues there aren't any that haven't been created so who knows.

I think all of the recipes have been made at least once, according to the Chef.

I've got 270 as well but most of the hidden dishes I have listed are from before the last round of additions. I would've guessed there are more but the Chef throws up a blank, so maybe not.

I am a truly terrible cook but I do love this game! I'm hoping to get to fifty completed recipes soon. What has surprised me is that, despite a complete lack of culinary skills, I have made twice as many dishes without a recipe as with. I don't think this is going to do anything to improve my real-life cooking abilities though!

Congrats on almost hitting 50! There's no rule that says you have to have a recipe to do a little experimenting. You might even make something you didn't know you could...

Are some ingredients more common than others, or are they all equally like to appear? Lots of my unmade recipes need flour but I never have any. I serm to have an endless supply of sugar, though.

There are a lot of ingredients, and it's pretty much random, although it may not seem that way sometimes. We have had peanuts - what, three times in the last 10 days?

I once waited four months for carrots to appear in the Market, and went on a desperate trading binge when they finally appeared; then they came up again within a week.

Ingredients are given randomly, but some are more common in recipes than others. Stocking up on flour might be a good idea next time it is in the market.

Honestly trident, the moment I see one of my quizzes newly online, I rush to the Kitchen. Do I get a new ingredient, or the same old sugar or milk?

There, got caught up on the recipes that I can complete for now. Made a ton of new food today.

It's a great incentive for making quizzes! Though I've got some duplicate items I need to swap. And there's so many things I could make if only I had oil or flour! I've tried bunging random ingredients together, but not having much luck with the current lot. I don't think any of the dishes I've made are hidden ones.

I'm glad the game is still chugging along nicely! If you are having trouble with the hidden dishes, I suggest keeping an eye on both the Crazed Chef and the "Who's Made What?" tab. They give hints every once in a while.

I find the Who's Made What tab is very helpful in identifying recipes.

I thought I might be stuck on 48 dishes indefinitely but, after a quiz went online yesterday, I received a few basic, but essential, ingredients which I had been needing for ages. The recipe for beef lasagna proved pleasingly straightforward and I stumbled across the recipe for tuna nigiri and finally won by badge for fifty submissions! Now I only have to cook another fifty for my next badge, I'd better get on with writing more quizzes then!
