Here are some actors who seem to speak "foreign" languages very well. I've written "foreign" like that because in one case the language isn't foreign to the actor. It's one of his home country's languages (along with English) but he's known for acting in English. Please feel free to add any more examples.

I was 15 when my family emigrated to Canada from the UK, and I was repeatedly told by my classmates that I had a "cute accent". I told them that I didn't have an accent. I was speaking English; they had the accents. I was told Canadians don't have accents. Made me laugh. Even after only rwo months in Canada I could spot someone from Newfoundland, from BC, and from parts of Ontario. (in the decades between then and now, I've learned to identify other regional Canadian accents, and there are many.) To top it all off, half the kids with whom I went to high school came from Texas and Oklahoma (their daddies were in the oil business and Calgary's part in that was just taking off), and if you want to talk about foreign languages.... Hope you all understood each other Cym. I'vr noticed that some Americans complain when TV shows (historical dramas etc) have characters with British accents but they don't complain about the characters with American accent so maybe it's the thing that they don't recognise them as an accent. Anybody who believes that the same brand of English is spoken everywhere has never travelled much. People assume that because my family emigrated from the UK we had no trouble acclimatising in Canada. Not so. Many ordinary English words have different meanings in different places. My mother found that out when she thanked a neighbour who had been very good about helping my mother find her way around shops, etc. Over a cup of tea one day my mother said, "Connie, I don't know what I'd have done without you. You're so homely." Connie laughed and said, "It's a good thing I'm a war bride from England and know what you mean by homely. If you'd called a Canadian-born woman homely she'd have slapped your face." In North America, when one tells a woman she's homely one is telling her she's as plain as a mud fence, while in the UK it means that she makes one feel comfortable and welcome. We even have disparities in language use in various parts of Canada. When I moved from Alberta to Manitoba, I ordered Bismarcks at a bakery and got a blank stare. In Manitoba Bismarcks are called jambusters. In Toronto, they're jelly doughnuts. They're all the same thing,- lovely yeasty, sugary doughnuts with raspberry, blueberry, or strawberry jam inside - but they have different names in different parts of Canada.
