Hope it's clear then. I've always liked lunar eclipses. Reply #1. Jan 14 19, 11:44 PM |

I hope so! Only thing I know for sure is it will be cold! A few years back I drove my kids to the path of the totality of the recent solar eclipse. Forecast called for clear skies...it clouded over right before the eclipse and down poured! It was still pretty cool but I will have to try again next time a total eclipse is near. At least the lunar eclipse lasts an hour and not just 8 minutes. Reply #2. Jan 15 19, 12:03 PM |

I good a really good view of the August 2017 eclipse from Kentucky. The next total solar eclipse in the US will be in April of 2024, and that one will pass right through the middle of Texas! Reply #3. Jan 15 19, 7:52 PM |

Aaaaaaaaah! I went outside and looked at the sky and a dragon is eating the moon! How can we survive? Reply #4. Jan 20 19, 10:33 PM |

Lol! Gotta wonder what ancient folks thought about it although it probably happened enough that they would know it is self containing. Our view here was pretty cool ( and cold!). We had clear skies. Of course none of my cell phone pictures came out very well. Made me wish for a minute that I had a fancy camera that would probably collect dust most of the time! Reply #5. Jan 24 19, 6:15 AM |
