I though it isn't until November 3rd? Reply #2. Oct 07 19, 12:13 AM |

That depends on where one lives, wwe and T Hartmann. In North America, we don't turn our clocks back until 2:00 a.m., November 3. In most of Europe, clocks go back on October 27. In my not-so-humble opinion, it's time to can daylight savings time and just leave the clocks alone. It's difficult enough trying to figure out who is an hour ahead or an hour behind in a country with different time zones. Reply #3. Oct 09 19, 1:02 PM |

In total agreement with you, Cymruambyth, in this...........and likewise I don't have "humble" opinions..........here in UK we should set it to GMT and leave it at that. Reply #4. Oct 09 19, 2:07 PM |

I like daylight saving - I look forward to it every year. The only thing I dread is going back to GMT every October! Reply #5. Oct 09 19, 2:25 PM |

Laura, that's because you have only one time zone in the UK. Here in Canada we have six, and if I want to 'phone my sister in Alberta - which is one time zone away to the west, or my son in Ontario, one time zone away to the east, I have to make sure I don't do it too early or too late.
