Chat Board Rules

FunTrivia is a family-friendly site and even though children aged under thirteen are not allowed to have their own accounts we know that many families use FunTrivia as a family activity. We also have to follow the laws in some countries about what is acceptable for children. As a result, although FunTrivia members are adults we do not allow conduct on the Chatboards that may conflict with our policies. In particular:

We do not allow name-calling, swearing, attacks on individuals or groups; neither do we allow discussion of politics or religion.

Please do not post personal information on the boards, including your age and contact details.

Boards
Please choose the board that best fits the subject of your post. If you are unsure, contact a Moderator first. Before starting a new topic, read other threads to see if you can add to one of those. Duplicate threads are usually not permitted. However, if there is a topic with an existing thread that no one has used for two or more years, please start a new thread.

Links
Do not post links to other sites that may contain commercial material or advertising or which contain comments sections of their own. For example, sites such as YouTube may allow comments that would not be permitted on FunTrivia and while a page may seem acceptable at the time of posting, that situation may change as comments are added. We reserve the right to remove all links.

Moderators
If you have any doubts about posting something please consult one of the Moderators and they will do their best to assist you.

Please note that the Moderators have the right to remove any material they deem to be in violation of these rules and/or FunTrivia's Terms & Conditions. If you wish to appeal against a Moderator's decision please contact the Chief Chatboard Moderator (flopsymopsy).

In some situations the Moderators may recommend that an individual player should be penalised for violating the rules; the penalties imposed will include the loss of sitewide privileges for posting on the chatboards and forums, in AskFT, and via the direct message system. Significant penalties are always discussed by several admins and only imposed after a joint decision.

I would like to share my books I have published and what they are about. I may also share things unpublished as well periodically. I can’t say how often I will post but I will as often as I can.

My book that was just published is being made into an audio book, and she said she might do the first volume as well.Speaking of which I need to get doing volume 3.

I started my review of a book today for a school article but didn't get very far before I had to take the dog out and now I just wanna relax so there's always tomorrow.

I finished the tutoring class with an A. I don't know what will happen with school, however. I am waiting to see if the loan will, by some miracle, get approved. Meanwhile, I started a GoFundMe page. So I will see what happens come August to I continue and get my degree, or is this the end.

I got my final grade. I got a 96% which is an A so I can apply for the job.

I also got my copy of the book I wrote last night too so that was cool. I love to see my name in print. lol

I didn't do any writing today, but I prepped for volume 3 of the book to start writing that. I have some already written, but I need to write the rest, and I have to see what I have so far first. I wrote them a while ago and then forgot about it while I edited volume 2 and now I forgot what I have written so far. I know it starts with Psalms and I was left off with Ezekiel. This one is harder because it gets into the major and minor prophets.

So, I came up with an idea to get my DVD blog read more (I hope) and promote my books at the same time. I now have a giveaway page on the blog for my books. I will periodically be giving away a book. So I wanted to share the link again to the blog:

I had my Saturday writing group today. It was a beautiful day so my puppy and I went across the street to the high school since the group is on Zoom and I did it outside. I have been losing interest a little later, more than before because I am so sick of everyone talking about COVID. I get it's big, but it's not the ONLY thing to talk about each week.

I applied to be a writing tutor at my school. I will work with virtual students since I am a virtual student. I am in NY, and Regent is in VA.

I have a job interview for that tutoring position at school on Monday afternoon. I am also going to be sending out the letters for my own business next month. I sent a letter to the Dept of Ed regarding a student loan to continue with school, so as of right now, I may be doing full-time or only one class all, depending on what they say.

So, I found out last night the person editing the novel I wrote last November is not longer editing it, and barely even got started so now I have to find an editor when I have money again for that. So, that book is on hold, and the plan is to write another novel in November, but hard to say a lot of things are in the air right now, so it may not happen this year.

I am on hold with the student loan people so while I am waiting I decided to do today's post.

I have a second interview for the job, I just found out today. Tomorrow is the interview, and I have to read the paper from 12:45 to 1 and then from 1-1:20 do a quick mock tutor session so they can see how I do. I am rather nervous about it actually.

Once I know if I get it, I can redo my own business schedule as next month I start sending out the letters.

As far as my writing goes, not much is happening. That is, I'm not doing much. Someone is doing the audiobook version of one book, and another person is looking over my novel to see about editing that.

I didn't get the tutoring job at the school, but that's okay as it just gives me more time to work on my own business.

I will finish season 3 of "7th Heaven" later today. I watched the last episode, I just have to add my comments and touch it up and then post it to the blog.

Only you can really answer that. I read your blog. Many people write because they have an internal need to express themselves. It's why I write my blog (though it is rare for me to contribute to it nowadays). If the only people that wrote were those who could make enough income off it to support themselves, there would be a lot fewer writers and the world would be poorer got it as a result.
