Subject: 'The Pianist' is the saddest film ever.

Today I watched 'The Pianist for the second time and it broke my heart. The hero of the film, Wadyslaw Szpilman, lost all his belongings, his parents, his brother, and his two sisters. He survived using wit and was nearly caught multiple times. Szpilman charmed a Nazi officer with his piano playing and the officer helped him.

This film completely broke my heart. I was sick and I cried for hours. It's a great film, though.

The saddest film I had seen is Steven Spielberg's "Schindler's List", as Spielberg is my favourite living director I should watching again, but I have only the once.

I watched that too! It's also saddening but didn't hit me the same way 'The Pianist' did.
