Trident and I are putting together a new fun collectible artwork game to go along with authoring.
Each month we will present a "painting" that you can earn and display in your own personal art gallery. Over time you can collect and gather more and more works of art.
The limited time January 2023 painting will only be available for that month, never to appear again on FunTrivia.
HOW TO EARN:
Each month there will be 3 mini-challenges that will change month to month. ex. "author a sports quiz" or "author a photo quiz" or "complete an authoring title challenge".
Complete ONE of these mini-challenges during the month on ONE quiz submission and you will earn the painting... unframed. Complete ALL THREE mini-challenges spanning at least 2 different quizzes that you create in that month and you will get the painting with a lovely frame.
Examples: Complete mini-challenges #1 and #2 on quiz 1, and #3 on quiz 2. Or, submit one quiz that satisfies all three #1 #2 #3 and a second quiz on any topic. Or, one quiz that does #1, a second that does #2, and a third that does #3.

TIMING:
For the January painting, only quiz templates you create (or adopted) from January 1 to January 31 will be considered.
BUT: you get up to a month's grace period to get the quiz(zes) online, to take into account the variable editing process. So a quiz you create January 17th, but that goes online February 19th still counts for (only) January's painting.

I'm a little confused about the wording of the Gallery game with regard to requirements. On the main Gallery page it states, "Get AT LEAST two quizzes online this month, meeting all three requirements..." to get the frame -- suggesting that that the 3 requirements could be met over 3 quizzes as well as 2. But then when you click the link to claim last month's award, it says that to get the frame requires "completing all 3 requirements over 2 quizzes", implying exactly 2 quizzes. Would three quizzes work, or does it mean that we have to meet three requirements in two quizzes (meaning one quiz must meet two requirements)? Reply #242. May 04 24, 8:13 PM |

I can see how it can be confusing. Think of it this way: 1. All three requirements must be met. 2. At least two quizzes must be written. You could (for example) meet all three requirements with one quiz and then simply write another completely unrelated quiz for that month. OR you could write one quiz that meets two requirements and another quiz that meets one requirement. OR you could write three quizzes, each with one of the requirements. Ah, thank you for that clarification. That is very good to know. It didn't even occur to me that one quiz could cover all three and a second wouldn't have to. It's also a relief because I'm still working on last month, and if I had to combine two requirements into one quiz, I would have a difficult time of it at this stage. Reply #244. Whew! I've just submitted my first quiz for April, having spent most of that month clearing my old adoptees so I could sneak in a new adoption before the end of the month.
