Subject: Branagh's 'Poirot'

Anyone planning to see 'A Haunting in Venice' (based on Christie's 'Hallowe'en Party'?)? Count me out. I'm not a fan of the Kenneth Branagh version of Hercule Poirot (David Suchet trumps all those who ever played the man with the little grey cells). Branagh's Poirot is too overdone for my taste.

I went to see A Haunting in Venice. I enjoyed as I have the other 2 Branagh Poirot films. I have never seen any other actors perform this role but I like him. There are a couple of subtle hints to help uncover the killer in Haunting in Venice but I had to wait for him to explain at the end. The only knock for me is that it mostly takes place at night which makes it harder to watch and follow a little. These films aren't the greatest but I feel they good and worth watching so I am hoping for a couple more.
