One. More. Time.

Find the rules to the game. In those rules you will see it states not all commonly expected words are accepted. I'm paraphrasing. It does, however, accept unexpected and unusual words. If you are playing words only in the Scrabble dictionary, you are missing opportunities for words that will be accepted. You will also be disappointed with words that are not accepted.

And...

One. More. Time.

Wouldn't it be more productive to simply post a link to the rules that you espouse. Why further frustrate players by sending them on a rather circuitous and often fruitless search to find the supposed 'rule' that you've paraphrased. (Why the paraphrase?, Can't you find the rule to copy and paste?).

The comment being referred to is on the word wizard mini game, underneath the box where you can check the dictionary. This is the exact wording - 'Valid words are those found in the FunTrivia dictionary, which includes all sorts of unusual and unexpected words. Note, however, that the FunTrivia dictionary does not include ALL plural forms or tense variations. You're going to have to get creative :)'. It's not hidden away somewhere difficult to find.

What it doesn't say is that FT uses a free dictionary and this does have its drawbacks as many of us have discovered. To use a 'better' dictionary would cost money and the site does not want to increase fees when the free dictionary is adequate, though not perfect.

There are times when you wonder why a particular word isn't acceptable, but it is a fairly rare occurrence.

Odo, I paraphrased because I couldn't remember the exact wording. Why should I have to provide the link to the rules for the game? All rules for every game on FunTrivia are on the same page where you play the game.

This is an old discussion. Try using some proper nouns in the game.

I think this is going nowhere... Evi, get out and let some Thanksgiving and seasonal mood permeate our site for the rest of the year. You're done for 2023.

Here, I have some Santa hats for sale... and turkeys and... BLACK FRIDAY SALE!!!

You too, kitten. I know you prefer the more subtle and profitable kind of evil... but we want peace now. And Friends in Need. Yes. More of those, in particular.

Oh don't be a spoilsport... I only run a business here...

If you want some profit, keep your daddy locked up. I'll make sure to sneak you on Santa's nice list if you ensure a nice, peaceful December. Here, have some extra premium catnip from the Cat People's special humidor. Enjoy it or sell it, I don't care.

Junior can't keep me locked up, he has no idea where I am! Mwahahaha!
