So, neither eternalised or eternalized are acceptable words. The Funtrivia vocabulary data base is a complete joke.

Heya-- question here. What are you talking about exactly?

There are a few different games on the site that use a dictionary, so a bit more context can help solve whatever issue you might be facing. It's hard to search blindly with so much to look at.

If this is about Crystal Ball, the only correct answer is the one that wins, so the variant spellings here should be irrelevant unless that's the selected word.

If this is about the Word Wizard letter game, there is very specifically a disclaimer there that says: "Valid words are those found in the FunTrivia dictionary, which includes all sorts of unusual and unexpected words. Note, however, that the FunTrivia dictionary does not include ALL plural forms or tense variations."

If this is about a quiz looking for that as an answer for a FITB question, perhaps it's worth a message to the author to better understand why your answer didn't count?

If it's not one of these options, perhaps you could elaborate a bit more?

To add to what Kyle said - the Word Wizard bonus game does not use a Scrabble type dictionary in which all forms are legal. Most commonly, verbs are only listed in the infinitive and nouns only as singular.

You will find trivialize, but probably not trivialized and trivializes. (The game's intro actually states this)

The dictionary has its drawbacks, but it's one of the few which are free to use. We live with the omissions, inaccuracies and occasionally mystifying definitions or lose the games which rely on it completely.
