From Quiz: Die Hard
Answer: Bonnie Bedelia
Bedelia, a native of New York City, portrayed Holly Gennaro McClane. Holly was John's wife and she was first seen at her office while she spoke with a co-worker named Harry. Harry asked her if she wanted to have dinner with him that night but Holly declined his offer, stating it was very busy as that evening was Christmas Eve. Harry said he really wanted to take her out since he wanted to have brie cheese and wine but Holly still insisted on not going. She encouraged another co-worker to go join the party outside since it was around that time to get off of work and she did not want to be seen as some Scrooge-like person. Holly then sat at her desk and called home and her daughter, Lucy, picked up the phone. She told Lucy that she would be home soon but odds were Lucy would be in bed by the time she got home and then asked Lucy to give the phone to the babysitter, Paulina. She asked Paulina if John had called but Paulina said he had not. Holly noticed a family picture on her desk and she put it down. Bedelia reprised her role of Holly Gennaro McClane in "Die Hard 2: Die Harder". She was also in the films "Presumed Innocent" and "Sordid Lives".
From Quiz: Who Played Me in "Die Hard"?
Answer: Financial data was being dumped into a server farm there.
When they were in Warlock's basement, they noticed that the chilling towers for the building were working overtime. The chilling towers were used to keep the computers from overheating.
When the financial systems went under attack in Stage Two of the fire sale, information about the accumulated wealth of the country began downloading to that server farm. This was the NSA back-up system for financial information, so that true records would still exist. Having the information available in one spot made it easy pickings for Gabriel.
From Quiz: "Live Free or Die Hard" Part 3
Answer: power networks
Farrell explained this after McClane asked. When McClane commented on how the government had to have back-ups in place for these types of diasters, Farrell pointed out that it took FEMA five days to get water to the Superdome (after Hurricane Katrina). This observation sobered McClane.
Taking out the power utilities was a little more difficult because, although controlled by computers, those computers were not accessible online. The terrorists had to make a personal visit to shut down the power.
From Quiz: "Live Free or Die Hard" Part 2
Answer: An action figure fell on it.
The terrorists were monitoring Matt's house, waiting to make sure that he was dead. McClane's arrival stopped him from hitting the appropriate key, so the terrorists opened fire on the apartment. In the resultant destruction, an action figure got knocked over, bounced off the keyboard and set off the bomb, but no one was sitting next to it at the time.
It was difficult to tell exactly which key was the trigger, but the camera kept focusing on the area containing the Delete and End keys.
Farrell didn't own a cat, so there wasn't one to be injured in the explosion!

From Quiz: "Live Free or Die Hard" Part 2
Answer: French
It was interesting to hear the terrorists conversing in French, while Thomas Gabriel (the mastermind behind the act of virtual terrorism), and his girlfriend conversed with the henchmen. The conversation was easily and seamlessly bilingual. The men who committed the acts of violence pretty much all spoke French (initially) while our chief bad guys replied in English. Sub-titles were provided! At one point, after having killed a few of these, McLean asked Gabriel if he was running out of men or if he had called 1-800-henchmen for replacements.
Thomas Gabriel was played by Timothy Olyphant and his very ruthless and effective girlfriend, Mai Lihn, was played by Maggie Q.

His term did not end until January 3, 2003.

Answer: New York
McClane had a fight with Holly (his wife) over the phone, a year ago. He's now living in New York, and he's in pretty bad shape. As he puts it, "I was working on a nice fat suspension, smoking cigarettes and watching Captain Kangaroo". If you didn't recognise the city, and didn't know that McClane lives in New York, there are still clues. The most obvious one is that McClane has to wear a racist sign in Harlem. Harlem is in New York. This is where he first meets Zeus.
