This scene continues the Tarantino tradition of source music. In "Reservoir Dogs", it was "Stuck in the Middle with You" as Blonde tortured Marvin. In "Jackie Brown", it was "Didn't I (Blow Your Mind This Time)" in Jackie's apartment. And in "Kill Bill", the 5.6.7.8's provided the source cue.

Answer: Ving Rhames
Rhames, born in 1959 in New York City, landed the role of Marsellus Wallace. Marsellus was seen near the beginning of the movie talking to Butch Coolidge about how he had ability, but that ability did not last. Marsellus informed Butch that his days of being a boxer were just about done and it was a fact of his life he had to soon accept. Marsellus then told Butch that the mafia business was filled with people who thought they would age like wine. After Marsellus got done talking to Butch, he showed him an envelope full of money and Butch took the money. Marsellus then gave Butch a piece of advice which had to do with boxing, as Butch was a boxer. He told him that anytime he felt a sting during fighting, it meant that pride was messing with him and to know that pride only hurt but never helped. Rhames guest starred on the TV shows "The District", "New York Undercover" and "Miami Vice".
