Founded in 1924, the Boston Bruins were one of six charter members of the National Hockey League. They were all known as the 'Original Six' in the NHL. The franchise started off with a bang. In only their third season, they found themselves in the Stanley Cup finals, but lost to the Ottawa Senators. Only two seasons later they won it all against the New York Rangers in 1929.
