Answer: Yes

Dave and Paul both said it would float!

Paul said it would sink and got it wrong. Dave said it would float!

Answer: Yes

The detergent probably would have sunk eventually if they had waited long enough.
4. A 66-ounce jar of olives.

Answer: No

This time Dave threw the object in the water himself. He must have gotten impatient! The "Late Show, Will it Float Models" usually are the ones to drop the object in to the "will it float tank".
5. A 7 pound, 4 ounce can of pumpkin pie filler.

Answer: No

Dave thought it would float, while Paul thought it would sink.
6. A 1-gallon jug of antifreeze.

Answer: No

Another wrong guess for Dave! He thought it would float, and Paul thought it would sink. One of the rare times that Dave got it wrong.
7. A 5-pound bag of flour.

Answer: Yes

Dave thought it would float, and Paul thought it would sink. Like the detergent, the flour probably would have eventually sunk if they had waited long enough.
8. A folding aluminum beach chair.

Answer: No

The chair looked like it would float, but it didn't! It just proves you never know what will happen on "will it float"!
9. A regulation baseball base.

Answer: Yes

Dave it right, he believed it would float. He is relatively accurate when it comes to guessing whether an object will float or sink.
10. A brick of Velveeta Cheese.

Answer: No

This is the one that started it all. "Will it float" has become an extremely popular game of the "Late Show". It is Dave's favorite; he sometimes requests to play it twice in one night.
