10. Well, this is about three characters from major works. What do Svidrigailov, Stavrogin and Smerdyakov have in common?

Answer: suicide

Svidrigailov and Stavrogin were married (and, maybe, even murdered their wives). Stavrogin and Smerdyakov are young, but Svidrigailov is about fifty. No one was in prison. But they all decided to kill themselves! (Notice the first "S" in their surnames.) Smerdyakov and Stavrogin by hanging, Svidrigailov by shooting.
