He sent "his boys" to go and burn down his vineyard. In an attempt to save it, Lady's father died in the fire.

David Cutrere and Lady had a fling in the distant past. Lady was pregnant and had to have an abortion because David took off and left her on her own. However, David was unaware that she was pregnant. When he finds out, he is in shock and wishes he had known.

Talbot tells Xavier of a sign outside a town down-south that reads "N----- - Don't let the sun go down on you in this town tonight". Talbot then tells Xavier that he want him to imagine that same sign in front of his eyes only saying "Boy - Don't let the sun rise on you in this town in the morning".

He specifies rise instead of fall because he won't have time to clear out by nightfall. Talbot concludes the conversation by stating "I hope you listened boy. I don't like violence".

Lady and Valentine fall in love throughout the play. They conduct their affair in the dressing room of Jabe's store. Incidentely, Jabe is living in the room directly above Lady and Valentine's affair.

The circus is coming to town. In the background, the circus calliope is being played and an announcer is driving up and down the streets in a car telling everyone to come along to the circus/carnival.

Answer: The Fugitive Kind

There is no known reason as to why they changed the name for the film version. I assume that "The Fugitive Kind" is a bit more appealing to a mainstream audience than "Orphues Descending". "The Fugitive Kind" also tells a little bit more about the film.
