It cost Drew an extra $25,000 to have Doo-Dah play the role of grandpa. Poor Brian got kicked out of his bedroom when Drew moved in, and now with Doo-Dah there, he had to give up the couch and sleep in the carriage house.

Doo-Dah played Scrooge in the play, "A Christmas Carol". I liked the scene where Tom and Drew show up at the play and after watching Doo-Dah perform, Drew comments, "He's not that bad," and Tom replies with, "He's not that good either".

Christine was ready to go off on her own when Drew told her she had to go with Doo-Dah. When she questions Drew as to why, he tells her, "Because he's your father?"

When Drew finds out that things are not so good with Tom and Christine he goes to speak to her in Brian's room. He asks her if everything is okay and she tries to tell him all is well. This is when he points out, "Are you sure? Because you just put a bra in Brian's sock drawer." And I love her line, "Oh, well, that's your brother. He's 15, likes to experiment. We still love him."

The cab driver ends up leaving after witnessing Drew get knocked out by Tom, with a shovel. This was because Tom thought that Drew was trying to burn his house down, when in actuality he was just trying to burn away his grievances.

I felt so bad for him when he wrote this down. With all that he'd been through in his life, it was nice to see him happy with the Valco family, even if it did cost him a lot of money.
