The eleven states in Peninsular Malaysia are Perlis, Pulau Pinang (Penang), Kedah, Perak, Selangor, Melaka (Melacca), Negeri Sembilan, Johor, Pahang, Kelantan and Terengganu. Kuala Lumpur is the capital of Malaysia, which is also one of the two federal territories in Peninsular Malaysia.

The other one is Putrajaya. Meanwhile, Sarawak and Sabah are located in East Malaysia. Labuan Island is another federal territory that is located somewhere between Sabah and Sarawak.
