The length of the bridge is 1,833.7 m (1.1 mi), and the width is 85 ft (25.9 m). The bridge was designed by John Augustus Roebling and opened on May 24, 1883.
2. George Washington Bridge

The George Washington Bridge is a double-decked suspension bridge located in New York City. The bridge carries fourteen traffic lanes, eight on the upper deck and six on the lower deck. The bridge also carries pedestrians and cyclists on the upper deck.

The length of the bridge is 1,450 m (0.9 mi), and the width is 119 ft (36 m). The architect was Cass Gilbert. The bridge opened on October 25, 1931, and the lower deck was added at a later date, August 29, 1962.
3. Golden Gate Bridge

The Golden Gate Bridge is a Californian suspension bridge that spans from San Francisco to Marin County. The bridge carries six traffic lanes, and allows bicycles and pedestrians during selected hours. The length of the bridge is 2,740 m (1.7 mi), and the width is 90 ft (27.4 m). The architect was Irving Morrow, and the bridge opened on May 27, 1937.
4. Deer Isle Bridge

The Deer Isle Bridge is a suspension bridge located in Maine. The bridge carries two traffic lanes and also bicycles and pedestrians. The length of the bridge is 764.7 m (0.5 mi), and the width is 24 ft (7.3 m). The bridge was designed by Holton Duncan Robinson and David Bernard Steinman, and the bridge opened on June 19, 1939.

The Walt Whitman Bridge is a suspension bridge that runs from Philadelphia to Gloucester City, New Jersey. The bridge carries seven lanes of traffic. The length of the bridge is 3,652 m (2.3 mi), and the width is 92 ft 2 in (28.1 m). The bridge was designed by Othmar Ammann, and the bridge opened on May 16, 1957.
6. Vincent Thomas Bridge

The Vincent Thomas Bridge is a suspension bridge located in Los Angeles, California. The bridge carries four lanes of traffic. The length of the bridge is 1,847 m (1.1 mi), and the width is 185 feet (56 m). The bridge was designed by W. J. Jurkovich, and the bridge opened on November 15, 1963.
7. Fremont Bridge

The Fremont Bridge is a steel-tied-arch bridge located in Portland, Oregon. The bridge has two decks with four lanes on each deck that carry vehicles. The length of the bridge is 657 m (0.4 mi), and the height of the bridge is 381 feet (116 m). The bridge was designed by Parsons, Brinckerhoff, Quade, and Douglas, and the bridge opened on November 15, 1973.

The Sunshine Skyway Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge located in Florida. The bridge carries four lanes of traffic. The length of the bridge is 6,700 m (4.14 mi), and the width is 94 ft (29 m). The bridge was designed by Figg & Muller Engineering Group, and the bridge opened on April 20, 1987.
9. Fred Hartman Bridge

The Fred Hartman Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge located in Texas. The bridge carries eight lanes of traffic. The length of the bridge is 4,185 m (2.6 mi), and the width is 154 ft (47 m). The bridge was designed by Greiner Engineering, Inc., and the bridge opened on September 27, 1995.
10. Tappan Zee Bridge

The Tappan Zee Bridge is a dual-span cable-stayed bridge located in New York. The bridge carries eight lanes of traffic, two bus lanes, and two bicycle and pedestrian lanes. The length of the bridge is 4,989 m (3.1 mi), and the total width of both decks is 183 ft (56 m).

The company HDR was the lead designer. The westbound to northbound span opened on August 26, 2017, and the eastbound to southbound span opened on September 11, 2018.
