1. Angel Falls
Answer: Venezuela
Angel Falls, on the River Churun in Venezuela, is the highest uninterrupted waterfall in the world. It drops some 3,212 feet from the Mesa of Auyan Tepuy. Because of how high Angel Falls is, it can be surrounded by clouds.
Angel Falls was discovered in 1935 by the American aviator, James C. Angel. The Disney movie "Up" was inspired by Angels Falls in Venezuela.
2. Victoria Falls
Answer: Zambia and Zimbabwe
David Livingstone became the first European to visit the falls, in 1855, and gave them the name of the English monarch. The falls are on the borders of Zambia and Zimbabwe. Local people know Victoria Falls as Mosi Oa Tunya. Victoria Falls was rarely visited by anyone outside of Africa until a train route went by the falls in 1905.
In 1985, Victoria Falls was made a World Heritage Site. The falls can be seen in the Marvel movie, "Black Panther".
3. Multnomah Falls

Multnomah Falls can be seen at the Columbia River Gorge thirty minutes from Portland, Oregon. The six-hundred eleven foot falls is fed by an underground spring. Benson Bridge is centered in front of the first tier of the falls. Multnomah Falls was mentioned in "The Shack" as well as seen in the movie.
4. 'Akaka Falls
Answer: Hawai'i
'Akaka Falls is a four-hundred forty-two foot long waterfall that flows into a gorge found in Honomu, Hawai'i. The waterfall and surrounding park are named for Chief 'Akaka-o-ka-nī'au-oi'o-i-ka-wao. Parts of "Jurassic Park" were filmed at 'Akaka Falls State Park.
5. Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls was created by Wisconsin glaciation. The half of Niagara Falls that belongs to the United States is part of the nation's oldest state park. Over three thousand tons of water flow every day on the US side of Niagara Falls. Two of the three falls flow in the United States: American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls. The largest falls--Horseshoe Falls--is divided between New York and Ontario, Canada.
On March 29-30 1848, Niagara Falls dried up because of an ice jam that occurred up river. The first movie Niagara Falls made an appearance in was the 1953 Marilyn Monroe/Joseph Cotten movie, "Niagara".
6. Kaieteur Falls

Kaieteur Falls is located in the Amazon rainforest and runs from the Potaro river in Guyana. The strength of the water from the falls has eroded a gorge that goes down eighty-one feet. Kaieteur Falls was first seen by geologist C. Barrington Brown in 1870.
7. Jim Jim Falls
Answer: Australia
Jim Jim Falls is located in the Northern Territory of Australia. The falls are six hundred fifty six feet tall and only accessible by land during Australia's dry period in May through October. The Aborigines call Jim Jim Falls by the name Barrkmalam.
Jim Jim Falls is located in a UNESCO World Heritage site called Kakuda National Park. The Australia scenes from the "Crocodile Dundee" trilogy were taped inside Kakuda National Park.
8. Godafoss Falls
Answer: Iceland
The thirty-nine foot tall Godafoss Falls is located in Iceland on the river Skjálfandafljót. The river comes down from the Icelandic highlands. The word Godafoss means waterfall of the gods and was given the name because the Ásatrú priest Porgeir Ljósvetningagođi threw statues of Viking gods into the water when Iceland converted to Christianity.
"Star Trek: Discovery" and "Game of Thrones" have filmed scenes at Godafoss Falls.
9. Jog Falls
Answer: India
Jog Falls is known as a segmented waterfall because it's made up of several smaller waterfalls that are better seen during monsoon season in India because of the amount of water that pours from the falls. Jog Falls is fed by the Sharavati river in Karnataka, India. It is eight-hundred thirty feet high. Each one of the four waterfalls has their own name: Roarer, Rocket, Ranee, and Raja. A hydroelectric plant was built downstream from Jog Falls.

10. Crescent Falls
Answer: Canada
Crescent Falls is made up of two waterfalls along the Bighorn River in Alberta, Canada. The falls got its name from the crescent shape cliff that the falls wash over. Crescent Falls is eighty-nine feet tall. The falls were discovered by Arthur Philip Coleman in 1892.
Scenes from "Revenant" were filmed at Crescent Falls.
