7. What was the name of William Shakespeare's only son, who died at the age of 11?

Answer: Hamnet

Hamnet Shakespeare died in August, 1596 at the age of 11. The cause of his death is not known. He was apparently named after one of Shakespeare's friends, Hamnet Sadler, a baker, in Stratford-upon-Avon. Although some have speculated that the play "Hamlet" has some connection with Shakespeare's son, there is evidence that the work attributed to Shakespeare was based on an earlier play of the same name, so this theory is unlikely to be true.

9. Why was Mozart buried in a common grave?

Answer: It was the custom at that time

The brilliant Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart lived from 1756-1791. This giant of the classical music world composed in every form of music possible with works of incredible beauty and delicacy. On his death, he was buried in a common grave, which has been misinterpreted over time as that of a pauper's - but this is incorrect.

In the Viennese custom of the time, anyone who was not a member of the aristocracy was buried in an individual grave for common people in St Marx Cemetery. Mozart was not a member of the aristocracy, so was interred according to his level in society.

Another Viennese custom of the time was to have only a very small handful of mourners attend a burial service, which was, again, the case with Mozart. However, the memorial services and concerts following his death were very well attended in both Vienna and Prague. Alas, though, it was the custom also at that period in history for the graves of the common people to be excavated every ten years, so it is unknown now where this great composer rests, but today in Vienna a gravestone has been erected on what is believed to be this spot.
