Two Hit Wonders Trivia Questions

1. French chanteuse Vanessa Paradis had a number three hit in the UK with the single 'Joe Le Taxi' which was entirely sung in French. Five years later she had another top ten hit with which song, this time sung in English?

From Quiz
Two-Hit Wonders

Answer: Be My Baby

Vanessa Paradis was only fourteen when she released 'Joe Le Taxi' in 1987. The song tells the tale of a saxophone-playing Parisian taxi driver who dreams of visiting the Amazon. 'Joe Le Taxi' topped the chart in Paradis' native France for eleven weeks and, unusually for a song sung entirely in French, it reached number three in the UK singles chart. In 1992 Paradis moved to the USA to work with Lenny Kravitz and recorded her first album on which all the songs were sung in English. This self-titled album yielded the song 'Be My Baby' which would become Vanessa Paradis' only other UK top forty hit, peaking at number six in the singles chart.
