From Quiz D'oh!
Answer:
Jay
The episode's name is based on Bob Dylan's song "Blowin' in the Wind", and shows how Homer's search for the meaning of his middle name turns Homer into a hippie. Homer's dad, who doesn't know what the "J" stands for either, goes with Homer to the "Groovy Grove Natural Farm" to look for Mrs. Simpson, who is running away from the law. They find two hippies who produce juice for a living, and Homer decides to join them. Homer finds out his middle name is Jay in a mural painted by his mother when he was a child. After Homer destroys the juice bottles that the hippies were going to sell, he works overnight and makes all the vegetables he found juice, including the hippies' "personal vegetables", which is the hallucinogenic peyote. The episode ends with Homer trying to convince the police not to shoot him and the hippies, and places flowers in each gun, however, Chief Wiggum shoots, lodging a flower in Homer's head.
