7. This breed's name is French for 'butterfly.'

8. This dog is the smallest of the Spitz breeds.

9. This breed was originally a hardworking terrier, bred to kill vermin. Now it's a pampered pet, known best for its profuse black/blue and tan coat.

Answer: Yorkshire Terrier

At various times, extremely tiny Yorkies have been noted as the smallest dogs in the world. The AKC standard for a Yorkie is for the coat to be a dark steel blue, and tan.
10. Cockapoos are a breed of dog recognised by the American Kennel Club.

Answer: False

A cockapoo is a mixed breed; the first-generation cross of a cocker and a poodle. Responsible breeders don't breed them. A "breed" of dog is one that breeds true- i.e.- if you breed beagles to beagles, you get more beagles. This isn't true with cockapoos- if you breed 2 first-generation cockapoos, you don't get dogs of any recognizable type- some look like poodles, some look like cockers, and some look like something in between. That's why they are usually sold only as first-generation crosses.
