2. Dan Rather?

Answer: Texan

He was born October 31, 1931 in Wharton, Texas. Rather amassed one of the most impressive and colorful careers of any news personality in television history, impressing network executives and viewers alike with his coverage of the JFK assassination and Vietnam.

His on air confrontations with President Richard Nixon during Watergate and Vice President George Bush during the 1988 presidential campaign both made headlines.
3. Atticus Finch?

Answer: Fictional

Atticus is the main character in the 1960 Pulitzer Prize winning novel "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. Finch was a lawyer in a small Southern town during the Depression who was appointed to defend a black man accused of raping a white woman. He was brought to life by Gregory Peck in the 1962 film of the same name.
4. Marvin Gaye?

Answer: Dead before 50

Marvin Gaye was 44 when he died. Although he was a superstar in the world of soul music, Marvin led what was often times a dangerous life. He became a drug addict and was known to keep company with prostitutes. However, it was his own father, a Pentecostal preacher, who shot and killed Marvin in 1984 after an argument over an insurance policy.
5. Joan Crawford?

Answer: Texan

She was born Lucille Fay LeSueur on March 24, 1904 in San Antonio, Texas. One of the grand stars of Hollywood in the 1930's and 1940's, she won an Oscar for 1945's "Mildred Pierce." She died on May 10, 1977 in New York City.
6. George Reeves?

Answer: Dead before 50

George Reeves was 45 years old when he died. Reeves death was ruled a suicide, but theories to the contrary were circulating years later. Although he appeared in several movies, it was Reeves title role in the 1952-57 television series "The Adventures of Superman" that he is remembered for. Reeves death added to the lore of 'The Superman Curse' that hovers over so many of the actors that have appeared in movies and television shows featuring the super hero. Even the actor who voiced the first "Superman" cartoon, Bud Collyer, died from a circulatory ailment.
7. Thurman Munson?

Answer: Dead before 50

One of the premier catchers in baseball during the 1970's, Thurman Munson was only 32 years old when his twin engine jet crashed just short of the runway, killing the New York Yankee great. His uniform number (15) was retired by the Yankees after his death.

Norton is excellent in the movie, essentially playing two different roles when Jack disguises himself as a janitor at the Montreal Customs House.
9. Tyler Durden?

Answer: Fictional

Tyler Durden is a character from the novel "Fight Club" by Chuck Palahniuk. The strange and often violent story about a disillusioned man who meets an exciting stranger was made into a motion picture released in 1999. Brad Pitt brings the Tyler Durden character to life in the film.
10. Ron Garvin?

Answer: Canadian

Garvin was born March 30, 1945 in Montreal, Quebec. Known as "The Man with Hands of Stone," Ron Garvin was a pro wrestler, performing regularly from 1962 to 1990, occasionally appearing in special matches thereafter. Though he held many titles over the years, his greatest years were spent in the Georgia area with World Championship Wrestling and the NWA.

His matches with Jake "The Snake" Roberts over the National Television title were classic battles, and in 1987 he won the NWA World Championship.
11. Frank Beard?

Answer: Texan

Frank Beard was born June 11, 1949 in Dallas, Texas. Frank is the drummer for the rock band ZZ Top and, ironically, is the only member of the band without a beard. Beard, Billy Gibbons, and Dusty Hill began playing together in 1969 and released their first album, "ZZ Top's First Album," in 1970.
12. Kim Campbell?

Answer: Canadian

Kim was born March 10, 1947 in Port Alberni, British Columbia. On June 25, 1993, she not only became the first woman Prime Minister of Canada, but the first native British Columbian to hold that office. An entertainer at heart, Campbell wrote and performed skits lampooning the legal and political establishment when she was in college.
13. George Custer?

Answer: Dead before 50

General George Armstrong Custer was born December 5, 1839 in New Rumley, Ohio. After serving with distinction in the American Civil War, he was appointed lieutenant-colonel of the Seventh Cavalry. Although he was court-martialed and suspended from duty for a year, Custer was called back to duty in 1868 and redeemed himself with a successful attack on the Southern Cheyenne on the banks of the Washita River in Oklahoma.

He is most famous for his ill advised attack at Little Big Horn in 1876 as around 2000 Lakota, Arapaho, and Cheyenne warriors trapped his unit and killed about 200 of them. Custer was 36 years old at the time of his death.
14. Tommy Tune?

Answer: Texan

Tommy was born February 28, 1939 in Wichita Falls, Texas. One of the more famous names on Broadway, Tommy began his career in the chorus of several musicals in the 1960's before moving on to tap dancing in films like 1969's "Hello Dolly!" and 1971's "The Boy Friend." His innovative choreography for Broadway musicals including "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" and the 1991 revival of "Grease" won him critical acclaim as well as 9 Tony Awards.
15. Tommy Chong?

Answer: Canadian

Tommy was born May 24, 1938 in Edmonton, Alberta. Tommy was a rhythm and blues guitar player before teaming up with his comedy partner Cheech Marin.
