Answer: Supernova

Possessing Superman-like powers, some people thought that Supernova was Superman in disguise. Booster Gold became jealous of the new hero, but it was revealed that they were the same person, using time technology to appear in the same place at once.
2. Which hero was found by Detective Chimp?

Answer: Ralph Dibny

Mourning the death of his wife, Ralph seemingly found the helmet of Fate, and went on a dimension-spanning journey to learn about magic. Dibny deduced that Fate was really the evil Felix Faust, and gave his life to trap Faust and the demon Neron in a solitary tower.
3. Which hero fought Lex Luthor and brought him to justice?

Answer: Steel

Lex Luthor began the Everyman Project, giving superpowers to normal people. Seen as renegades without a moral code by the rest of the superhero community, most of the people lost their powers.
4. Which hero did not venture into space?

The Question spent much of the year in Nanda Parbat, Gotham City and Kahndaq, trying to stop Intergang. Animal Man, Adam Strange and Starfire all went into space, meeting up with Lobo.

The Red Tornado is a robot originally built by T. O. Morrow, but becoming a superhero and rebelling against his creator. A new robot was rebuilt in Australia, but it was vastly inferior to other models.
