Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which one of these men were not involved in the opening Six-Man Tag Team Match of "SummerSlam" 1991?

Answer: Big Boss Man

The Big Boss Man had his own business to take care of later in that night, with him facing The Mountie in the Jailhouse Match. The rest were involved in the opening Six-Man Tag Team Match, with The British Bulldog, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat and The Texas Tornado scoring the victory over Power and Glory and The Warlord once The Dragon hit Paul Roma, one half of Power and Glory (Hercules being the other half), with a "Crossbody" and getting the one-two-three.
2. Mr. Perfect walked into "SummerSlam" the WWE Intercontinental Champion. For the 1991 edition, who was his opponent?

Answer: Bret Hart

In both cases, Mr. Perfect walked into "SummerSlam" as the WWE Intercontinental Champion, and lost it to two different opponents, those being The Texas Tornado the previous year in 1990 and Bret Hart in this edition (1991). After 18 minutes of back and forth action in a true classic, Bret "Hitman" Hart finally did what he came out to do, and that was, of course, to win the title from Mr. Perfect and he did just that after forcing Perfect to submit to the Sharpshooter.

The "curse" of the WWE Intercontinental Champion losing his title at "SummerSlam" continued on from the three previous, and of course, it was no different in 1991. Coach (no, not Jonathan Coachman!) was at ringside in the corner of Perfect for the match.
3. There was a bout between two well known tag teams at the time. In one corner stood The Bushwhackers, and in the other stood The Natural Disasters. By the end of the match, who was it that got pinned?

Answer: Luke Williams

The two teams were The Natural Disasters (Earthquake and Typhoon), who walked away the victors and The Bushwhackers (Luke Williams and Butch Miller), who walked away, of course, the losers after Earthquake hit Williams with his "Earthquake Splash", followed by the pin fall.

In the corner of The Natural Disasters was Jimmy Hart, and in the corner of The Bushwhackers was Andre the Giant. After the match, after all was said and done, The Natural Disasters decided to try to apparently "attack" Andre, but fortunately enough, The Legion of Doom came to his rescue, thus luring them off.
4. Another championship bout arrived, that being the second one of "SummerSlam" 1991 and in this one, "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase defended his Million Dollar Championship against his challenger, Virgil. Who walked away the winner?

Answer: Virgil

"Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase's 922 day reign of being the Million Dollar Champion had finally came to an end once Virgil smashed DiBiase's head onto an exposed turnbuckle, and covered him for the pin fall, thus becoming the second man to hold the unsanctioned championship belt. DiBiase originally became the champion by awarding the belt to himself in 1989, but unveiling it days later on an edition of the "Brother Love Show", hosted on "Superstars" on March 4 of that year. Sensational Sherri was in the corner of DiBiase for the match.
5. There was a unique type of match, which became to be called as the Jailhouse Match. The Mountie became the one to meet that exact fate which it would hold for the loser, but who was it that defeated him?

Answer: Big Boss Man

The loser of the Jailhouse Match would have to spend 24 hours in a New York City jail, and The Mountie found out for himself who's it gonna be upon being pinned by the Big Boss Man after Boss Man hit him with a "Double Leg Slam". "The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart was the cornerman for The Mountie in this match.
6. The WWE World Tag Team Championship Match came next, and The Nasty Boys, the then-defending champions, squared off against The Legion of Doom. What type of match was it?

Answer: Street Fight Match

The well-known Street Fight Match it was, and not to mention, it was the last championship match of the night. By the end of the night, ALL titles, including the WWE Intercontinental Championship, the Million Dollar Championship, and of course the WWE World Tag Team Championships, changed hands.

As for the actual WWE World Tag Team Championship Match, The Legion of Doom (Hawk and Animal) walked away the NEW champions after the "Doomsday Device" was hit courtesy of The Legion of Doom, followed by Animal scoring the pin fall on Jerry Sags, one half of The Nasty Boys (the other half was Brian Knobbs).
7. The last Singles Match of the night saw the "SummerSlam" debut of Irwin R. Schyster. Who was his opponent?

Answer: Greg "The Hammer" Valentine

Irwin R. Schyster, often referred to as simply "I.R.S.", defeated Greg "The Hammer" Valentine via a roll-up in a little over seven minutes therefore winning his first "SummerSlam" bout.
8. Who scored the pin fall in the Main Event Match of the night, billed as "The Match Made In Hell"?

Answer: Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan teamed up with Ultimate Warrior in a Handicap Match to take on Sgt. Slaughter, Colonel Adnan and Colonel Mustafa and just as his two recent Main Event Tag Team Matches (Handicap Match in this case), Hulk Hogan ended up scoring the pin fall on an opponent, this time it being none other than Sgt. Slaughter, after Warrior chased off both the Colonels and using a little help from powder, which Hogan used to his advantage by throwing it into Slaughter's eyes followed by his "Leg Drop" to finally get the win.
9. For the Main Event Match of "SummerSlam" 1991, that being "The Match Made In Hell", who served as the Special Guest Referee?

Answer: Sid Justice

This was Sid Justice's first "SummerSlam" appearance. After the match, Justice posed with Hogan in celebration of their victory.
10. "The Match Made In Heaven", "Macho Man" Randy Savage marrying Miss Elizabeth in the middle of the ring. To the surprise of both, interference became the case once two men crashed the party. Who were they?

Answer: The Undertaker and Jake "The Snake" Roberts

This was the final attraction of the night, billed as "The Match Made In Heaven", which saw the wedding of Miss Elizabeth and "Macho Man" Randy Savage. All was going according to plan until The Undertaker and Jake "The Snake" Roberts decided to interfere, leaving Savage to set up his reinstatement.
