'A Wrinkle in Time' begins on a dark and stormy night with Margaret Murry wrapped in a blanket and scared in her attic bedroom. (An excellent book, even for grown-up children like me.)
2. The author of the Newbery Award book of 1962, also wrote sequels to "A Wrinkle in Time". "A Wind in the Door" is one of them. Who is the author?

Answer: Madeleine L'Engle

Madeleine L'Engle has been a fairly prolific children's author over the years. Her works include three books based on the characters from "A Wrinkle in Time". They include: "A Wind in the Door", "A Swiftly Tilting Planet", and "Many Waters".

Ma and Pa, Laura and Mary, and baby Carrie will remain in the fond memories of childhood for people everywhere. The simplicity of their lives and the strength of their family is still a model for some of us today.
