He was also a brilliant science pioneer. I can remember a cartoon picture of him sitting under an apple tree and an apple struck him on the head! He further discovered his most interesting (to me) his third law of gravity. Which is, for every action there is an equal but opposite reaction.

In other words, let's say you strike a hard object with your hand, you will receive a bruise if you use enough force. Ouch...
