Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. How many Horcruxes are there?

Answer: Seven

Lord Voldemort created seven Horcruxes to contain his soul to become immortal. Horcruxes can be made into ordinary, everyday objects such as jewelery or furniture. When all of a Dark Lord's Horcruxes were destroyed, then the Dark Lord became mortal. When he is killed, there is no way for that person to be able to come back into the mortal world.

The creation of a Horcrux is simple, the person just has to commit a murder and parts of the victim's soul were stored in any object or living creature that is present. Voldemort's seven Horcruxes are Salazar Slytherin's locket, Helga Hufflepuff's cup, Rowena Ravenclaw's diadem, Nagini, Marvolo Gaunt's ring, Tom Riddle's diary and Harry Potter himself. All of these Horcruxes were revealed in the seventh Harry Potter book except for Tom Riddle's diary, which is destroyed by Harry Potter in the second book, and Marvolo Gaunt's ring.

The latter is destroyed by Albus Dumbledore in the sixth book when he used Godric Gryffindor's sword to destroy it forever.

In the end, all seven Horcruxes are destroyed and Lord Voldemort vanishes from the mortal world for good.
2. How many of the previous Triwizard participants were at the wedding in the beginning of the hour?

Answer: Three

Three previous Triwizard participants attend Fleur Delacour and Bill Weasley's wedding in the beginning of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows". The three people are Fleur Delacour, Harry Potter and Viktor Krum. Fleur Delacour is the bride at the wedding and both Harry Potter and Viktor Krum are guests at the wedding. Cedric Diggory is missing from the wedding because he was killed by Lord Voldemort in the Fourth Harry Potter book. Viktor Krum and Harry Potter chat during the wedding and Viktor Krum almost gets into a physical fight with Xenophilius Lovegood. Fleur and Bill's wedding is harshly interrupted by a large group of Death Eaters that invaded the celebration.
3. Who had a silver doe as their Patronus?

Answer: Severus Snape

A Patronus is the animal form of a witch or wizard that is the only way to protect against Dementors. Snape's Patronus is revealed to be a silver doe when Snape's Patronus guides Harry Potter to find the real sword of Godric Gryffindor in a vast forest. Also, Snape's Patronus is a silver doe because his love for Lily Potter made his Patronus the exact same as Lily's.

Some of the other Patronuses are James Potter having a stag just like Harry Potter's Patronus, Albus Dumbledore's being a phoenix because of his pet phoenix named Fawkes and Ginny Weasley's being a horse.
4. The Deathly Hallows consists of how many objects?

Answer: Three

The three objects that make up the Deathly Hallows are believed to help conquer death. The three objects are the Elder Wand, Resurrection Stone, and Invisibility Cloak. The Elder Wand was the most powerful wand ever created that enabled its owner to win every duel that they participated in.

The Resurrection Stone lets the owner of it see and communicate with the dead people of their choice. The Invisibility Cloak was the only object that could shield its owner from being found by Death. There was a magical fairy tale that told a story of how three brothers attained these three items and how the brother that chose the Invisibility Cloak survived the longest.

The Elder Wand was taken by Lord Voldemort, but truly belonged to Draco Malfoy. Harry Potter had both the Resurrection Stone and the Invisibility Cloak in his possession at some time in the seventh book.
5. How many wands are stolen in total by Harry, Ron and Hermione before they leave the Malfoy Manor?

When Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley and more get caught by a group of Death Eaters, they are brought to the Malfoy Manor to be punished by Lord Voldemort.
