Adams is an American cartoonist noted for the satirical comic strip "Dilbert". Dilbert is a cog in the wheel of big business, and has to endure sarcasm from co-workers and his "pointy-haired" boss.

Sandy, a squirrel that lives in an underwater dome, is always inventing and doing experiments requiring high intelligence. Mrs. Puff operates a boating school that would need at least moderate intelligence. Squidward is involved with the arts which requires more than average intelligence. Patrick, a starfish, on the other hand, is incredibly dense and doesn't have a job.

In one episode, he didn't even recognize that visitors he had were not his parents. He sometimes forgets what he is doing half-way through.
