1. The famous "Brown lady of Raynham Hall" has apparently been sighted in Raynham hall several times over the past two centuries. Who was the person who took the now famous picture of the "Brown Lady of Raynham Hall" in 1936?

Answer: Indra Shira

This famous photo was published in a British magazine called "Country Life" on the 26th December 1936, 7 days later than when the picture was actually taken.
The "Brown Lady" is so called due to the brown brocade dress that she has often been seen wearing while wandering around Raynham Hall, which is located in Norfolk, England.
George IV also had an encounter with the "Brown Lady" which lead him to flee this house, "I will not spend another hour in this accursed house, for tonight I have seen that which I hope to God I never see again".
The "Brown Lady" is thought to be the ghost of Lady Dorothy Walpole who was the sister of the prime minister of England in 1722.
Eventually when she married, her husband Lord Townshed is believed to have locked her in her room as he had received some knowledge about her having an affair with Lord Wharton.
2. What room is the ghost of the "Radiant Boy" believed to haunt in Corby castle?

Answer: The pink room

This famous ghost in Corby castle is believed to cry and moan in fear or in pain at midnight. The noises are believed to come from a passage that had been cut into a ten foot wall. Once the cries went away, a halo of light is believed to appear around an old four poster bed that is in this room.

Many people that have slept in this bed claim to have seen a figure of a small boy dressed in blue. When the wall of the pink room in Corby castle had been removed, parts of blue clothing and the bones of a young boy were discovered.

In around the early 1840's he had created a scheme to help him make more money.

This scheme was that he would kidnap free "Black Americans" and forced them to work on the salt mines, he would then sell them back to others that were purchasing slaves. John Hart Crenshaw is said to have imprisoned the slaves at nightime in the Attic where they were are said to have been tortured. Eventually he decided that kidnapping "blacks" was too slow so he decided to create his owns slaves by forcing a man know as "Uncle Bob" (who was selected because of his strength) to have sex with the other female slaves. 5. What was the purpose of the "Winchester Mansion" originally?

Answer: To keep bad spirits away from the owner

This mansion took 38 years to completely build and was built to keep bad spirits away from the owner, Sara Winchester. She built this house because a psychic told her that the death of her husband and her child were caused by evil spirits. The psychic told her that the only way for her to keep safe was by building a massive house that had traps to confuse bad spirits so that they couldn't find her.
This house is believed to have around 160 rooms (no one knows the real number because people often get lost in this house), three elevators, forty-seven fireplaces and bathrooms and around eleven thousand windows.
This mansion also has stairways that lead to nowhere and some into the ceiling.

Although the reason is not known, many things in the house consist of thirteen things such as all the stair cases apart from one have thirteen steps, many sinks have thirteen drain holes, many rooms have thirteen windows in which all the stained glass is made out of thirteen panes.
Her obsession with the number thirteen wasn't just a thing that was used in her house, things such as her will consisted of thirteen parts and was signed thirteen times.
