Answer: Augustus

Augustus was also the first emperor of Rome, and was so great that the month "August" is named after him. He was also the great-nephew of Caesar and ruled from 27 BC to 14 AD.
2. The Romans built many famous landmarks. Which of the following did they NOT build?

Answer: Leaning tower of Pisa

The leaning tower of Pisa was actually not built by the Romans, but built in the 12th century.
3. The Roman Republic won many wars during its time. After beating Carthage and gaining naval supremacy, what did the Romans call the Mediterranean Sea?

Answer: Mare Nostrum

"Mare Nostrum" in Latin translates to "Our Sea". This referred to Roman naval supremacy. In the 20th century the term was revived by Mussolini with the boastful claim that the Mediterranean was Italy's sea.
