Answer: Montgomery

The capital was moved to Richmond after Virginia seceded from the USA.
2. Who was elected Vice-President of the CSA?

Answer: Alexander Stephens

Davis was the President, Breckenridge was a Secretary of War and Benjamin was Attorney General and later, Secretary of State, and Secretary of War.
3. Who was the Secretary of the Navy?

Answer: Stephen Mallory

Mallory served the entire war as Navy Secretary, the only member of the Confederate Cabinet to serve the entire war in one department.
4. How long was the term of the President and Vice-President of the CSA?

Answer: 6 years

This would have put the first 'national' election of the CSA in 1867.
