Answer: So Cool

Daryl (Anthony Rapp) recognizes Mike's "So Cool" license plate because Mike beat him up. They spot the car outside a fancy restaurant, where Mike is two-timing Chris. She goes into the restaurant and confronts him for cheating. Mike gets his comeuppance when Daryl kicks his chair and sends him flying into a bowl of soup.
Mike's Camaro was Bradley Whitford's own Camaro, and the "So Cool" license plates were his own license plates. Whitford was 27 at the time he did "Adventures in Babysitting," a little old to be playing someone dating a high school senior.

Answer: Planting drugs in their room

He doesn't plant drugs on them, but he does frame them for stealing his car. He also cancels their hotel reservations with the help of an evil hotel manager played by Ed Lauter. Evil Roger is a member of the Alpha Betas, and has a grade point average of 2.2 (about a C-).
Justice is served when Lewis Skolnick (Robert Carradine) punches Roger and knocks him into a swimming pool.
Personal note: I watched "Revenge of the Nerds 2" and it is so mind-numbingly stupid it makes the first film look like "Citizen Kane." The only redeeming feature is scenes with Courtney Thorne-Smith in a bikini.

Answer: Jimmy Smits

Jimmy Smits plays Doctor David Redding, who is in charge of the residency program at a teaching hospital in Los Angeles. Smits and Whitford teamed up again when Smits played presidential candidate Matthew Santos on "The West Wing."
"Vital Signs" was released theatrically, but has all the signs of being a TV pilot for a medical drama that never flew. While it is sometimes compared to "ER" (generally unfavorably), it seems closer to "Grey's Anatomy" especially the part about young attractive doctors having sex. In this case, the young attractive doctors were Adrian Pasdar and Diane Lane.

Answer: Nephew

Randy is the son of Frank's older brother. Frank wants to visit his brother before he commits suicide. During dinner, Randy continually harasses Frank, ridiculing the accident that cost him his sight. Frank finally explodes when Randy continues to call Chris O'Donnell's character "Chuckie" even though he prefers to be called "Charlie."

Answer: Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)

Bobby Lee is a sharpshooter with the FBI. At the end of the film, he shoots Butch (Kevin Costner) as he is reaching for a postcard. Bobby Lee is an arrogant character, who sexually harasses criminologist Sally Gerber (Laura Dern) and annoys Sheriff Red Garnett (Clint Eastwood). Bobby Lee wears tinted sunglasses throughout the film (even when he is aiming the rifle). Justice is served when Garnett punches Bobby Lee for ignoring his orders; Gerber then proceeds to knee him in the groin.

Answer: Jamey

Whitford plays Jamey Collins. He appears twice in "Philadelphia": About 20 minutes in, when he tells Tom Hanks that the file was misplaced, setting up the excuse for the partners to fire Hanks' character. In the second, about 65 minutes in, he is being cross-examined by Denzel Washington. He commits perjury in lying about the missing file.
Whitford also plays an attorney named Jamie in "Presumed Innocent" (1990), which stars John Spencer (Leo from "The West Wing"). In that movie, he defends Harrison Ford.

Answer: Thomas Fink

For most of the film, Fink is a secondary character to Roy Foltrigg (Tommy Lee Jones), his boss. Fink's big scene is roughly two-thirds of the way through the film, when he questions Mark Sway (Brad Renfro), who heard a confession from a mob lawyer about the location of a murder victim's corpse. His hardball tactics end up having Sway plead the Fifth Amendment. Fink is the one who comes up with the idea of arresting Sway "for his own protection."
Mary Louise Parker plays Mark Sway's mother, Dianne. She would later work with Whitford on "The West Wing" as his girlfriend Amy Gardner.

Answer: Accidental killing

Eric discovers that Principal Max Anderson (Josh Mostel) used to wrestle under the name "The Revolting Blob" and accidentally killed someone in the ring. Under pressure, Anderson claims that Billy bribed him to pass school, but later recants his accusation.
Billy and Eric face off in an academic decathlon at the end of the film. Eric's fatal flaw turns out to be his inability to discuss "Business Ethics." Justice is served when Eric is shot in the rear by Steve Buscemi.

Answer: Carl Witnaur

Witnaur works for President William Haney (Dan Aykroyd). Witnaur attempts to frame former presidents Russell Kramer (Jack Lemmon) and Matt Douglas (James Garner) in a scandal involving a crooked defense contractor. When threatened by Wilford Brimley, he folds in about five seconds and reveals the whole scheme.
Paul Tanner (Everett McGill) was the evil head of the NSA in "My Fellow Americans." Bob Alexander (Frank Langella) was the sleazy Chief of Staff in "Dave" (1993).

Answer: Attorney

Not surprisingly, Whitford once again plays a lawyer, this time named Lloyd Charney. And once again, he is a jerk in the one brief scene he has in the film. He agrees to help Andrew Martin (Robin Williams) obtain information, because it will cause Andrew to leave on a long journey.
His only real lines are about an hour in, right after the scene where Sam Neill dies. He makes two brief appearances later. The character of Lloyd is the son of Amanda Martin and the father of Portia Charney, both played by Embeth Davidtz.
