In this particular scene near the end of the movie, a man dining where she works sends his "rare" steak back complaining that it's not rare enough. Kate answers that if it were any more rare it would walk out and hail a cab, but reluctantly she makes another one. Moments later that man sends it back again complaining that she's never seen a rare steak. Very angry, Kate takes an uncooked piece of meat out to the man's table and throws it in front of him delivering this quite humorous line.
