Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Name the city in which the European 'Bounce' Tour was opened.

Answer: Barcelona

Spain was the country chosen to open the European Tour, with two concerts: Barcelona (20th May 2003) and Madrid (22nd May 2003). The band had not come on tour to this country for seven long years...
2. Which song does this verse belong to? 'Go on, get on with your life, yeah and I'll get on with mine...'

Answer: 'Hearts Breaking Even'

All songs were from the album 'These Days'. This one is one of my personal favourites.
3. Valentino is the name of the dog of Jon's character in the film 'Moonlight and Valentino'.

Answer: True

Jon debuted as an actor in the 1995 film 'Moonlight and Valentino'. In the film, he played the role of a painter, whose name would never be told. He had previously had a cameo appearance in 'Young Guns II', the film for which he composed the soundtrack in 1990.
4. Complete the verse: 'Should I? Could I? Apologize for sleeping on the _______ that night'.

Answer: Couch

This verse belongs to 'Misunderstood', the second single of their latest album 'Bounce', released in autumn 2002.
5. Who wrote 'In These Arms'?

Answer: Jon, Richie, and David

This song was released for the first time on 'Keep The Faith', in 1992, and then two years later on 'Cross Road', their greatest hits album, though just some countries versions had this song. In others, they had an acoustic version of 'Livin' on a Prayer' called 'Prayer 94'.
6. Name the song that Tico sang live at the Count Basie Theatre, Red Bank, NJ on December 21st, 1995.

Answer: 'Crazy'

All four songs appear on the bonus CD that included the version of 'These Days' released in France. 'I Thank You' is a cover sung by Jon, and 'Tumblin' Dice' and 'Heaven Help Us' were sung respectively by Dave and Richie at the same show where Tico sang.
7. Which of these actors from the sitcom 'Friends' has appeared on two Bon Jovi videos?

Answer: Matt LeBlanc

Being more explicit, one of the videos is a Jon solo video: 'Miracle', from 'Blaze of Glory' (see question 3 for more information on this topic). The other one is 'Say It Isn't So' from 'Crush', in which he appeared with Claudia Schiffer.
8. Finish the lyrics: 'In a world, that don't know Romeo and Juliet, boy meets girl and promises we can't ________'.

Answer: forget

It belongs to the song 'I'd Die for You', the awesome track 8 from the album 'Slippery When Wet', released in 1986. Don't miss the acoustic version of this song.
9. Which member is the youngest of the band?

Answer: Jon

John Francis Bongiovi was born on 2nd March, 1962; Richard Stephen Sambora, on 11th July, 1959; David Bryan Rashbaum, on 7th February, 1962; and Héctor 'Tico' Torres, on 7th October, 1953.
10. Complete the verse: 'I don't need no license, to sign on no line, and I don't need no ________, to tell me you're mine...'

Answer: Preacher

The verse belongs to 'Living in Sin', from 'New Jersey'. This song has a very polemic video, which in his day was banned by MTV. I think everyone has already heard that story...
11. What was Jon's character's name in his appearances on 'Ally McBeal'?

Answer: Victor Morrison

Jon shot nine episodes for the fifth season of the series 'Ally McBeal', in the beginning of 2002, during the recording sessions of their latest album 'Bounce'. Victor was Ally's romantic interest in those episodes.
12. Which song does this verse belongs to? 'I'm sleeping in my car, my dreams move on'.

Answer: 'Someday I'll be Saturday Night'

One of the new songs from 'Cross Road', along with 'Always', released in 1994. There's no use in saying that the second one was a much bigger hit than the first. The other three options are from 'Slippery When Wet'.
13. Alec Jon Such played the bass in the recording of the version of the song 'Runaway' that appears on the album 'Bon Jovi'.

Answer: False

If you take a look at the booklet, you'll notice in the credits that in this album Hugh McDonald did play the bass, not Alec!
14. Complete the verse: 'If you see _________ tell him I've cut my hair. I kept my faith. I still believe I'm just...'

Answer: coach T.

It belongs to 'Just Older', in my opinion one of the few worthy songs from the 2000 and platinum album 'Crush'. In fact, it's one of the few songs from that album the band plays at their concerts...
15. And just for finishing, which song closed the concert in Wembley Stadium, London, 1995?

Answer: 'This Ain't a Love Song'

This concert is one of the ones released on video and DVD, along with the one in Zurich, Switzerland, for the Crush Tour, in summer of 2000.
