Answer: She Works Hard for the Money

This song, which was written by Donna and songwriter/producer, Michael Omartian, was from the album of the same name. According to Casey Casem, host of "America's Top 20", Donna was inspired to write the song after seeing a European lady, a powder room attendant, sleeping in a ladies room. Donna thought that the lady evidently works very hard, and the idea for the song was born.
