In 1988 Godley and Creme went separate ways after producing some of the most innovative music videos of the 1980s.
In addition to the award winning video for 'Cry' they produced and directed videos for The Police ("Every Breath You Take"), Culture Club, Duran Duran ("A View to a Kill"), Herbie Hancock ("Rockit"), Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Sting ("If You Love Somebody Set Them Free"), Toyah, George Harrison ("When We Was Fab"), and Wang Chung.
