Answer: Cadence

There are four main types of cadences: Plagal, Interrupted, Perfect and Imperfect.
2. What would be written to tell the musician to play "Sweetly and Softly"?

Answer: Dolce

Courante is a piece of music written in triple time, Musette is a baroque dance with a drone bass and Nocturne is a musical composition with nocturnal associations.
