'Pretty Vacant' was the third single released by the Sex Pistols. It was released on the first of July, 1977.

2. What year did Sid Vicious die?

Answer: 1979

Sid Vicious died of a heroin overdose. A suicide note was found in his jacket, which read:
'We made a death pact, and I have to accomplish my part of the deal. Please bury me next to my baby. Please bury me with my leather jacket, jeans and motorcycle boots. Goodbye. With love, Sid.'

3. What was the title of the 1980 film about the Sex Pistols, directed by Julien Temple?

Answer: The Great Rock 'N' Roll Swindle

The film showed the story of the band, although from a slightly distorted angle. It followed Steve Jones as he uncovered the swindle. It's famous for Ten Pole Tudor's weird and wonderful singing of the song 'Who Killed Bambi?', along with Sid Vicious' version of 'My Way'.
